HJC's new modular helmet, the IS-MAX BT comes equipped with a Pinlock ready shield. The IS-MAX BT uses the DKS088 Pinlock lens. The one-touch integrated sun shield feature eliminates the need for sun glasses. The new HJC RPS-10 helmet comes equipped with a Pinlock ready shield and clear lens. The RPS-10 uses the DKS072 Pinlock lens. At this time, no other tints are available. HJC offers a smoke shield that is Pinlock ready as well.   With the quick release shield system, changing the shield is easy and quick.

For the past year, many of the KBC full face models comes with a Pinlock ready shield! All you need to do is purchase the Pinlock lenses. Not having to purchase an aftermarket KBC Pinlock ready shield saves you money and puts you a step closer to having the best anti-fog system for your helmet. 

An aftermarket Pinlock system for the Shoei Hornet is now available. Check with Shoei www.shoei.com for availablity of the aftermarket Pinlock ready shield.  Pinlock lenses have shipped to Helmet House, the exclusive distributor for Shoei in the US.

Requests for a do-it-yourself kit for the Pinlock system are coming in frequently. Customer satisfaction is important to us, but this is an item that we will not be offering.  Pinlock will be not be offering a DIY kit. Following are the key reasons that we do not offer a DIY kit: First, any modification of  a helmet will void the warranty on the helmet.

An aftermarket Shoei Pinlock ready shield (CW-1) is available in the US. The Pinlock lens (DKS055) is much larger extending to the top of the eye port eliminating any line of sight issues when the rider is in a tucked position. Lenses will be available in all tints. Pinlock lenses have shipped to Helmet House, the exclusive distributor for Shoei in the US. Check with Shoei www.shoei.com  regarding the availability of the CW 1 Pinlock ready shield.

Shoei is also offering a flat shield (CWF-1) which is compatible for tearoffs and a Pinlock lens. The Pinlock lens for the CWF-1 is the DKS056C and only comes in clear.
